What payment methods are accepted?

All services must be paid for by CASH ONLY at the conclusion of your service.  I do not accept credit/debit cards, checks, Venmo, Zelle, or other electronic payment methods.  I apologize for any inconvenience!

 

Why should I pay to have my home professionally organized?

Living in a well-organized space can make your home so much easier to live in but nowadays, who has the time to undertake such a large task? Organizing a single room can easily become overwhelming if you don't know where to start, or have a large amount of items/areas that need sorting. Instead of taking hours (or days) out of your already-busy schedule, save yourself the headache and the time by hiring Serenity to do the work for you! We will work to create a clear plan about how to make your space function at its best again to suit your needs. All organizing jobs are completely customized to create the best possible experience for you, with minimal stress and maximum satisfaction.

Do I have to invest in custom materials (baskets, bins, containers, etc.) for my project?

Of course not!  While we do highly recommend using these items, one of the best parts of a customized service like this is giving you, the client, the freedom to choose items that fit your lifestyle and budget.  The prices for custom materials can vary greatly depending on their size, function, and material, so we can work together to find something that works for you.  If you are organizing on a tighter budget, you can always opt to invest in containers and other items later when you are ready.  Regardless of your budget for custom materials, I will not leave your project until it is beautifully functional for you and your family!

How long will my job take to complete?

The amount of time that I will need to complete your job is entirely dependent on the amount of space and items you wish to have organized.  As a general rule of thumb, a very small space (i.e. bathroom vanity) may only take a couple of hours, but a large intricate space (pantry, kitchen, playroom, etc.) could easily take several hours to complete.  For very large spaces, projects could take a couple of days to finish.  During your consultation, I will do my best to provide you with an accurate timeframe for the job you wish to hire me for!

How can I save time (and money) on my organizing service?

Before I arrive to complete your project, there are things you can do ahead of time to save time, which will ultimately cut down on labor costs!  If you can, go through your space beforehand to remove any unwanted, expired, or donation items.  We are always happy to assist you with this process, but it will take more time to complete your project.

Where do you get your materials (baskets, bins, containers, etc.) from?

Everything about your project is completely customized to your wants and needs, so this will depend largely on your budget and the type of items needed/requested.  There is an endless variety of storage materials available online, so I will share several with you to help you make a decision before providing you with your work estimate.  To ensure that the correct items are ordered, I will take care of ordering the materials for your space (if you already have some items you wish to use, be sure to let me know during your consultation!).  No items will ever be purchased for your project without your permission!
